In 27th of September, 2019 BALTIC STICKS was awarded with the International Packaging and Packaging Materials Certificate by the British Retail Consortium BRC. The BRC Global Packaging Standard is one of the most well-known and recognized in the world. There is only a very small number of manufacturers, which are producing wooden products for food industry and have acquired BRC.
Certification according to BRC proves that BALTIC STICKS distributes food safety, hygiene and quality requirements throughout the supply chain, from raw material manufacturers, service providers, carriers to the ice cream manufacturers. The BRC certification guarantees that the manufacturer is responsible at all stages of the operation. Also, undertakes to produce only safe, legal products that meet the specified quality requirements and affirm the company’s responsibility towards its users and customers.
The quality of the product is very important for us and our customers. Therefore, we invest in accredited ice cream sticks‘ examinations, certifications and trainings. Additionally, we always keep increasing the qualification of employees. Of course, a continous improvement is done in updating equipment, technological processes and systematic maintenance.
Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an international non-profit organization founded to support socially responsible management of the world’s forests through independent certification of forest management and the certification of certified forest products. FSC is also a sign of responsible forestry. This successful, international forest certification scheme is recognized by global environmental and social organizations. FSC certification covers all stages of processing, production, transportation and distribution from the forest to the end user. FSC certification ensures that the certified product is made from wood from sustainable forests and that no impurities from non-certified forests are present at any stage in the production of this product.
